Subnautica: Survival in the deep sea is a first-person survival game, in which you control a space traveler in the 22nd century, who crashed his spaceship on a planet that is covered almost entirely by the ocean.
In this game, you will be faced with the challenge of eating and drinking, even though this can be disabled in lower difficulty modes. You can also catch or gather seafood, which you can use to create useful tools and structures.
The storyline is based on the premise that there is a reason why this planet is quarantined, and the reason why the protagonist has to survive. By exploring the ocean, finding the remnants of other crashes, and listening to the radio messages, the player will learn about the enormous Leviathan, the mysterious Precursors, and the reason why this planet is quarantined.
